Professional Development to Embed ICT into Classroom Pedagogy
ICTeD Services offers professional development to schools. It in located in Melbourne, Australia. ICTeD Services specialises in teaching Information and Communication Technology skills to whole schools, to teams of teachers, and to groups of teachers and students learning together. These skills can include the use of digital video, animation, multimedia, Web 2.0 technologies, and website design and can be integrated into a variety of curriculum areas. The development of school eLearning plans and curriculum design which incorporates ICT into the Victorian Essential Learning Standards, is an important aspect of the work of ICTeD services. Advice on appropriate infrastructure necessary to deliver successful ICT programs in schools can also be given, in consultation with other IT professionals.
ICTeD Services is run by Mark Richardson, a teacher with many years experience in running successful ICT programs in schools, as well as being a co-leader of a successful ICT professional development network and a presenter at a wide variety of ICT professional development events. Currently Mark in developing ICT PD support materials which will be available to schools, teachers and students via the internet. His iWeb tutorials and evaluation of .Mac accounts in classroom are the first of these.
